Dr. Ira Bush established the Insurrecto Hospital on Campbell Street during the 1911 battle of Juárez. He also helped smuggle the McGinty Civil War cannon for the revolutionaries to use during the Battle of Ojinaga. His involvement in the revolution is documented in his memoir, Gringo Doctor.
