This was Lauro Aguirre’s home during the latter part of his life until his death in 1925. Aguirre was editor of El Independiente, El Progresista and La Reforma Social. He was active in all three of the major revolutionary movements between 1893 to 1911 that used El Paso as their headquarters— Teresismo, Magonismo and Maderismo.
