Kyriacopuolos, an El Paso businessman who ran a smuggling ring for Greeks and Syrians wishing to enter the United States, was a good friend of Pancho Villa. Although one local historian claims Pancho Villa lived at 510 Prospect during his exile in 1913, there is conflicting evidence about this. Other sources state that Pancho Villa and his wife Luz Corral lived next door to the Kyriacopuolos family. The 1913 El Paso directory lists Kyriacopuolos as the residents at 510 Prospect. It is probable that the Villas lived either at 512 or 508 Prospect.
